Kelly’s diverse background has prepared her for a career in the medical and therapeutic professions. Throughout her fourteen years of working in the massage industry, twelve of those years were been dedicated to assisting in chiropractic care. Through this, she gained knowledge on how to deal with both acute and chronic pain from muscoskeletal and nerve issues.
At the age of eighteen she attended massage therapy school at the Relax Station and immediately began working for Donald Hund D.C. . During her eight year stint with Dr. Hund she was educated on chiropractic care and its difference to massage therapy for injury as opposed to relaxation. This ultimately led to Kelly working for Houston Spine and Rehabilitation. This transition broadened her skills in electronic charting and therapeutic modalities (e.g ultrasound, e-stim). Kelly has found that working alongside a chiropractor has been a rewarding career experience. The idea that she can make a significant improvement ins someone’s quality of life gives kelly a great sense of joy and purpose.
