I'm sure you have heard the slogan of the mega-pharmacy, Walgreens. But let me give you another slogan.
"Medicated symptoms does not a healthy person make".
Or what about this one.
“A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”. - the World Health Organization
Truth be told, if you are only medicating a symptom and not fixing the root of the problem, you are not healthy. Likewise, if you are living in infirmity or pain, you are probably not happy.
